Very nice room with all needed amenities. Comfortable bed and quiet environment. Great location and street parking was not much of an issue. Make sure you have the ParkMobile app. All around a very nice experience, and I will definitely stay here again.

This property sits in a quiet residential neighborhood. A recent renovation gives the building a fresh, updated feel. Guest rooms are spacious, spotless, and well-appointed, providing a relaxing atmosphere. There is a popular restaurant on site, and several other good options are within walking distance. I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a pleasant place to stay in Pittsburgh.

First time staying here and it won’t be the last. The Maverick in Pittsburgh was fantastic. Even though check-in (and out) is virtual, staff was quickly responsive via email and text. Loved the ice machine and fun flavored water. Enjoyed the spacious, yet cozy, room. The Malin+Goetz products in the bathroom were spa-like. Will def be buying for home. Loved this location—Bakery Square was like living at home, up-and-coming quirky neighborhood, better than staying downtown in a high-rise personality-less chain. Parking was easy—in the street and had to pay but we didn’t find it to be an issue.

The NICEST hotel I have ever stayed at! My boyfriend and I came here for our anniversary trip and it was beautiful. Checking in was so easy and the room was beautiful. We were right on the 5th floor and had an amazing view! The room was huge and SO clean! Being able to text virtual assistant anytime we needed anything was so convenient! The hotel was within walking distance to coffee shops, target, restaurants and more! The location was so convenient and despite it being right by the road it was nice and quiet! We definitely will be back with how nice and relatively affordable the room was for how huge it was! Not to mention the provided toiletries were AMAZING!!

Stayed here about two weeks ago for a business trip. Very high tech, which made checking in easy. I had no issues entering the building or my room at any point. There is a restaurant/bar on site and a few places nearby to eat at. I love the room aesthetic and would definitely stay again and recommend.

Room was clean, neat style art deco kinda vibe. Nice touches like wine glasses with cork screw, ear plugs if you needed them. Spacious room. Just a nice vibe. Did not need any service. All self serve and worked great for me. Self check in and out, everything through my phone including opening the door. Parking is all paid parking in lots or on the street. Because of my later check in and leaving pretty early in AM, I parked in lot behind the hotel and ended up not paying any for parking.

My husband and I came to Pittsburgh for the weekend to attend a ceremony for my son at CMU. We loved the unique vibe at the Maverick. The key code entry was a breeze and the virtual desk was super responsive. The room had everything we needed and the bed and pillows were comfortable. It was very quiet though they even provided earplugs if needed. We also enjoyed the morning coffee station in the lobby and found the the attendant to be very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the hotel and its history. An added plus was the Babe Cafe in the Lobby. It too had a warm and welcoming vibe, great service, and the eggplant dish and crafted drinks were outstanding. We ended our days in Pittsburgh each night there before heading to our cozy room. The building itself has interesting architectural touches-intricate woodwork, marble stairs, the original gym and other unique features. We parked behind the building. The cost was no more than that at hotels where you pay for parking. Great shops and food options on Walnut Street if you are up for a 10-15 minute walk or a quick drive. We look forward to coming back next fall!

We loved everything about this swank historic restored space. It suited us perfectly; self check in; privacy; quiet, comfortable and very well appointed rooms; great atmosphere and all the amenities needed. The location was great; super walkable area with everything you need close by. We are really non-bougie; independent travelers who do not want staff lurking around and do not need my bed made up every day or room service. We travel to get out and explore so the space here was perfect. It felt private; the bed was so comfortable and the room/area so quiet. We liked the ability to grab some extra coffee or tea; fresh towel etc when we needed it without having to wait for room service. The self serve model is a pretty brilliant one for those not looking to be “waited” on and the great rates reflect this. We wanted for nothing and will stay here again!

I held my wedding at the Maverick- in the gorgeous ballroom on the second floor and loved it. The hotel is truly beautiful. A perfect spot for wedding photos. It was an exceptional place to host a wedding because guest could stay in the hotel where the rooms were cool and artsy! There is Hey-Babe a restaurant and bar onsite which is lovely. There is places to park near by as well.
